Michele is a certified HeartMath Coach and Trainer, with an Honours degree in Psychology. She works primarily with students (age 10 and up), teaching them study skills, as well as life skills, including motivation, organisation, self-regulation and coping tools.
Her love of learning is reflected in her ability to integrate different modalities, within the coaching space, with any age group.
She has had great success integrating the HeartMath skills and technology within her coaching and teaching sessions.
The stress and anxiety of postgraduate studying was not only an intense but close to debilitating experience for me. Prior to seeking help, my box of coping strategies consisted only of anti-anxiety medication and a stream of tears bordering emotional breakdown.
With Way Forward Coaching, and qualified life coach, Michele Frew, I was able to add to my box of coping strategies, more positive techniques to manage the pressure and stress of postgraduate studying. Learning skills such as Heart-Focused Breathing (through use of HeartMath) and Quick Coherence Techniques, enabled me to achieve a sense of calmness and tranquillity when feelings of dread arose. HeartMath has allowed me to tap into an inner strength and pool of positive energy I never knew existed.
Suddenly, achieving my academic goals seemed doable and I welcomed anxiety knowing I possessed the tools to conquer it.

I approached Michele because I was getting very bad anxiety due to exam stress and being a victim of crime.
Michele helped me by teaching me how to control the stress and anxiety I felt in any state. I no longer get panic attacks, and when I feel one coming on, I remember what Michele has taught me.
She made HeartMath easy to learn and maintain in day to day life. I feel happier and healthier being in control of how I react to situations.
